Sad news

By now many of you may be aware of the passing of our dear friend Jerrie Mead. Her niece Becca broke the news on Facebook yesterday. Jerrie was only 57 years old and a much loved member of our card making community.  Jerrie has been a wonderful link in the Card Chain Challenge for many years and we will miss her.

I know you'll join myself and Gail in sending our condolences and love to Jerrie's family at this sad time. Should any of you want to leave a message for Jerrie's family, here is the link to her obituary page.

If you would like to send a card then please contact us for her mailing address.

  1. Oh no--I'm so sad to hear of Jerrie's passing. Another reminder of how short & uncertain life is & to make the most of every day. I would like to send a card to her family.

  3. Oh no, such sad news. Life passes by way too swiftly. I sent out her May CCC card 2 days ago. But now I will send her family a card.

  8. Just back from holiday and so sad to see this. My very first Card Chain Challenge card came from Jerrie, one of her beloved coffee-themed ones. Rest in peace, Jerrie, you will be missed.
